We don’t need to be grateful to the state for permitting us to protest. We can thank ourselves that it is we who have insisted on these rights. It is we who have refused to surrender them.

I call the Queensland Police “FASCIST” because of what they have been doing to me. I got nowhere being polite. Fascist thinking before World War 2 belongs to a lot of people. Italy under Mussolini, Spain under Franco, Germany under Hitler. Fascist thinking does not mean that they believe in burning people in gas chambers. It does mean they believe in authoritarian and totalitarian thinking much like the Police in Capalaba where I live.
Dali Lama At another occasion at the Press Club when asked the “meaning of life” point blank by a member of the audience, he answered,
“BE HAPPY, try to be useful”
I think he’s spot on in the meaning of life.
As an Atheist I think;
RELIGION IS SIMPLY A SET OF OPINIONS-NO SET OF OPINIONS SHOULD RECEIVE PRIVILEGE OF IMMUNITY FROM INSULT.
IN MY OPINION
Our so called leaders are paid for by the big end of town. We are given our politicians by the different parties. The party gives us their representative to vote for and we vote for them thinking this is democracy. Its not its a KLEPTOCRACY. In a democracy we the people choose who is going to represent us not the big end of town. Government is just a calculated distraction for big business.
